The short version. All Fur The Love is a volunteer-run advocacy effort for dogs at Yolo County Animal Services. When you submit an inquiry on this site, we use what you tell us only to follow up about adoption. Nothing more. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing, ever.

Who we are All Fur The Love is a volunteer collective operating in Yolo County, California. We are not Yolo County Animal Services (YCAS) and do not speak on behalf of YCAS or Yolo County.

What information we collect

When you fill out an adoption inquiry form on this site, we collect what you give us:

Your name
Your email address
(Optional) your phone number
(Optional) your city
What you write to us about your home

We also automatically collect non-personal usage data: pages visited, how you arrived at the site, scroll depth, and which buttons you click. This is collected through Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) and, for ad performance, the Meta Pixel. None of this is tied to your name unless you submit a form.

How we use it

To respond to your adoption inquiry. A volunteer reads it and reaches out to you.
To improve which dogs we feature and how we tell their stories.
To measure whether our ads are reaching the right people in Yolo County.

We do not use your contact information to send marketing emails, sell anything, or build a profile of you across the web.

Who we share it with

Inquiry submissions are read by All Fur The Love volunteers. If your inquiry is a good fit for a specific dog, a volunteer may share your contact information with Yolo County Animal Services so they can schedule a meet at the shelter in Woodland. We will not share your information with anyone else.

Third-party tools we use

Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager. Anonymous traffic data so we know which of our posts and ads bring people in.
Meta Pixel. Anonymous data about whether our Facebook/Instagram ads led to a visit or an inquiry.
Cloudflare. Hosting + content delivery for this site.

These services have their own privacy policies. We've configured them to collect the minimum needed to measure the effectiveness of our outreach.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies, set by Google Analytics and Meta Pixel, to count unique visits and measure ad performance. None of these are used for cross-site advertising profiles by us. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete any inquiry you've submitted. Email hello@allfurthelove.com and we'll remove it within 7 days.

Kids

This site is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Updates

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and, where it matters, note the change.
