Ready for adoption · Los Angeles, CA

Meet Zoey.
She's looking
for her last home.

Zoey was adopted from our shelter a few months ago, and despite thriving in her home, her adopter can no longer give her the care and exercise she deserves. She doesn't deserve to spend another second waiting.

No pressure. No judgment. Just love.

A letter from Zoey

"I just want a couch,
a leash, and a long walk."

Hi. I'm Zoey. I'm 8-ish. I've already been adopted once, and then returned. Not because I did anything wrong, but because life gets complicated for the people who love us.

I'm potty-trained. I sit, I wait, I come. I am a total cuddle bug. I love car rides like other dogs love steak. I am very friendly with people and, with a slow intro, friendly with other dogs too.

I don't deserve another minute in a kennel. I just want to know who's coming home tonight, and to be sure it's you.

Love, Zoey 🐾
Zoey's hobbies

She loves car rides.

"Top of her list of hobbies: chin on the headrest, watching the world go by."

"Soft as cashmere. Sleeps with her toys. Will follow you to the bathroom."

Zoey isn't new to this. She's worn the teal "ADOPT ME" vest at past adoption events. She's watched ducks at the river. She had a home, and through no fault of hers, lost it.

Right now she's in a foster home, out of the kennel, getting daily walks and sleeping on a couch. We're trying to make sure her next home is the last one.
